Hi, I joined this site a while ago but this is my first post. I have a Kubota RG15 tracked dumper. It has a 1 cylinder 10 hp air cooled diesel and a transmission (belt driven from the engine) with a hydraulic pump in the top of the transmission. I have the parts manual in Japanese but no other documentation. The parts manual refers to 7 liters of transmission oil , 14 liters of hydraulic oil and 1.7 liters of engine oil. There is no mention in the parts manual what the oils should be. I don't see this as a major problem for the engine or hydraulic. The transmission has clutches in it to de-clutch and brake the tracks so it can steer so the transmission may need a particular oil. The level is down off the stick and I should change it anyway. Does anybody know what oil should go in this transmission.
I have had it for about 3 weeks and it starts and runs well.
