New carburetor for a Kubota AV6500 generator

I purchased a used Kubota AV6500-B-USA Generator yesterday, It was listed as, needs carburetor work for $250 I figured how could I go wrong, when I looked at the generator I noticed the float bowl hanging below the carburetor, the F.B. gasket was leaking The previous owner over tightened the the bowl retaining bolt and broke the internal threaded housing in half. its a Mikuni Carb. #12008C below that number is 2 V651 looks like the Kubota P.N. 320400 does anyone know where I can find a used carb or know of any manufactures that used this style of carburetor on their engines? I searched for the Mikuni numbers with no luck, this generator only has 25 hours on it, He told me it was his grandfathers and it was purchased in or around the yr. 2000 if I can find the upper carb housing to match, I can transfer the jets and other carb components I’ll try to post some pics Thanks for any help

While these two have listings for them, it's highly unlikely you can get it.

While these two have listings for them, it's highly unlikely you can get it.

Thanks for the info, I did find the Kubota P.N. for the carburetor 12008-44040 $500-$600 and N/A I was hoping Mikuni made the same casting for other small engine manufacturers, but once I realized that China Isn’t producing a replica for $15 I thought to myself, once again I must’ve been intoxicated by the color of orange, and used poor judgement, I knew I was rolling the dice, this Generator looks like it rolled off the showroom floor, and only having 25 hrs on it, and no Circuit board that cost $400 to replace when it burns up a day after the warranty is up, along with a 2 hour drive to buy it,, I better start looking for something that bolts on and can atomize fuel, otherwise it’s looking like Snake Eyes with the dice, unless a kind member has a old carburetor from a AV6500 generator laying around, that they no longer need, and would like to donate or sell it for a reasonable fee

You could try shade treeing it.
Find a bolt the size and thread of the bowl bolt.
Clean/sand all around the broken area.
Lightly oil the bolt and place it in the remaining threads.
Use J B Weld to replace the missing part. I would find a short piece of metal tube to slide over that area to reinforce it and help mold the epoxy.
When it has hardened, remove the bolt and grind or sand off any excess.
Install the bowl and bolt. Check the bowl level and needle valve first.

I'd take the old carb to a motorcycle bone yard and try to find a decent CV carb that matches for bore, i a flange mount and throttle location.

I suggest you take the easy way out…. and convert it to LPG (propane)… a simple matter of a small copper tube stuck into the intakes and a thumb-screw for a regulator….

I would like to thank everyone for their input, I‘ll post a few more images I do have a few questions from the responses starting with, Is JB Weld resistant to solvents ie: gasoline? if not can anyone recommend any kind of epoxy that is resistant to solvent? I do have some bushings that I could use as a sleeve, I used a 3/8 piece of pipe and used JW Weld on one end with a lubricated bolt and the same on the other end with some 608 Clear Epoxy patch. I was going to soak it in some gas to see how well the epoxies hold up, my other question is about the propane/natural gas conversion kit, i’m not familiar with these conversion kits, can anyone recommend a company that sells them, would I still need a carburetor? I’ll attach a couple pic’s of the carb’s bolt & bore openings just incase someone might have a carb that they could recommend. And a couple pics of the intake manifold to see how I could add a Multi fuel set up, And thanks Wolfman I did look at the carbs you recommended but they were to small. Maybe I could Ck. To see if theres A Mikuni carb forum, I would probably have better luck finding the stock carb, Thanks for all the suggestions

'JBWeld ' is a mixture of epoxy and steel filings, so 'ok' for gas.
as for replacement carbs... check similar power(HP) gas engines.

Years ago,super rush job, guy needed a carb for his Honda 9HP motar mixer. $250 for Honda carb,3 day del. I bought a 'Chinese clone' for $250, tossed carb on Honda, up and running in 3 hours (still using it 5 years later...)
Let Google be your friend...trick is putting the right 'keywords' in the correct order, to narrow down the results.

Yes......JB Weld is fantastic stuff, and is unaffected by gasoline.

JBW is steel-reinforced epoxy. Should be fuel resistant, their site has a gas tank repair technique. But it uses the putty style which I'm not too keen on.

If the threads don't hold, you might embed an insert.

Century sells dual- or tri-fuel conversion kits. I have no experience with them. You still need the carburetor, maybe not the fuel tube, etc. The auto idle might still work.

5 years ago I repaired the aluminum elbow exit from my Kubota M4700 fuel filter/ water separator which kept leaking because the elbow was only pressed-in to the valve assy. This is a common Kubota type filter. JB Weld fixed it permanently. JB Weld is gas, diesel, oil, fuel-proof.
