Dang George, looks boring. Think I'd have the wife do it and go do something else... Video is fine as it is....

Does the insert link not do it?

Nah, I just tried it. I know it works for me on YouTube videos though.

God does not subtract from man’s time on earth the hours spent mowing...
(Nor does the absent Woman critique the beers consumed in the undertaking.)

Runway or driveway? What are you landing a C130? How long is that?

That runway is 4200’ on a 180’-wide right-of-way. My other turf runway is 3500’ on a 120’ Right of way. I have a ‘53 Cessna 170B (depicted here on the ranch) and a ‘62 Cessna 172C (Shown during a fly-in at a friend’s house near Houston.)

Nice. My brother flew Harriers for 21 years. Always interested to see what others are doing.

Geohorn,
Starter fixed or just the lucky day the starter works?
I have not seen the conclusion of that saga yet!

Love the old Cessnas, yours look very nice. My first plane was a '63 172D. Learned to fly it out of a 2000' grass trip. I flew over 150 EAA young Eagles in it while I had it. While the later models with Lycomings had a little more power, you can't beat the 6 cylinder Continental for smoothness.
I do like my '60 Beech Debonair with an IO-520 conversion, though.

Got a few hours in Beech’s including Debs.... great handling airplanes. I owned a Baron for 5 years but the $10K annual inspections finally got my goat.

To aaluck: Harriers? I was a demo and production-test pilot for British Aerospace in the late ‘80s. Great airplanes! I was the assigned pilot for Tennesee Ernie Ford during the early 80s at the Harlingen air shows of the then “Confederate Air Force” to bring him to/from San Francisco to EmCee the AirSho ...after we finished the Harrier hovering-demo we needed some help from a half-dozen guys on the leading edges to shove it backwards into it’s parking place on the flight line..... Ford commented on the open-mic.... “Millions of dollars to make that thing and we gotta push it to park it!” LOL
