I wonder how the operator faired in the rollover. If he were wearing the seat belt, most likely have a few scratches and bruises. If not it is anyone's guess.

Regardless of operator error or not, that is an ugly sight to see. Sure hope the operator faired well after this.

I got that picture off the internet and locals reported the operator was fine. They also make comments about the ROPS probably saved him.

New tractor, new operator(?), new experience! That’s quite a slope to be mowing across!

Glad to hear the operator is OK.

Hope they didn’t try to start the tractor (without taking the proper measures) after righting it!

EDIT: I think this thread would have been ON TOPIC in the tractor operating forum!

It looks like a pretty steep angle to be mowing 'crossways' ??
Guys here use mowers on end of articulated booms. Faceinating to watch the one guy as he gets within 3 inches of fences lines, around hydro poles, etc.

The slope of that hillside is right at the cusp (if not beyond) what a tractor might be able to handle.

The trouble with those type of scenarios is that all you need to have happen is to drop a tire off in a small hole/depression on the downhill side and the momentum will carry you over every time.

Or soft spots due to standing water.

By the look of the ruts on the top edge of the slope, he might have been trying to get away from that, but got too far into it to correct himself.

Loader on besides changes COG on such a steep slope. What appears to be a little drop-off made matters worse.

Bet it was scary, especially if they recognized they were in trouble and were trying to get themselves out of danger’s way.

Only he/she knows. So glad to hear the operator is okay.

Ouch. That sucks. Glad the operator is ok. As stated above, operator found him/her self in trouble and made more mistakes until it went over. Makes me rethinking of using my ROPS when cutting grass. Have a ditch that has a similar slope.

Glad operator is okay. All that equipment looks brand new. I wonder if he/she read the owners manual about hills or if the the dealer had a safety talk before sending it out the door.
