Have a 2009 M9540.
Everytime I kick the PTO on, a very loud and annoying buzzer goes off.
Only way to make it stop is to shut the PTO off.
Not really an option for cutting and baling hay, or feeding cows with a bale shredder.

Anyone have any ideas?
The seat safety is plugged in, have new fuses have been installed.

i wonder if the seat switch is not working.... unplug it and jump the wires together with a short piece... if the buzzer does not come on, the switch it is. i had to disconnect mine and do this on my 7060 as it would buzz every time i turned around to look at something.

I think he meant to unplug the buzzer.

Unplug the seat switch cable connector where it goes through the floor behind the seat. The connector is a white two wire setup. It is just above the right lift arm. Jump it on tractor side of the cable, not the seat side. Definitely sounds like the seat switch.
