M6800 no electrical power

I have an M6800 that has been doing just fine. Yesterday, it cranked as usual and ran for about 15 seconds and died. It now has no electrical power in the cab, when the key is turned on. No lights, buzzers, nothing. Just printed out a repair manual online to start checking relays and such. All fuses seem to be fine. Just thought id get some opinions on where to start, in case there are some oddities that people have run across. thanks

100% no power ,or just some things 'dark ?
maybe a 'main' fusible link went poof ??
would have to see the wiring diagram...

I would start at the battery. Check the ground wire.

You could turn on the lights for a load. Then use a volt meter to see where the volts drop.

When you sit in the cab and turn the key on, you have no lights or buzzers of any kind and it will not turn over. Battery has 12v and it cranked just fine and died. There is suppose to be a 50 or 60a fuse that can blow. I’m trying to find it. I have the dash off

The main fuse is not under the dash it is at the starter.

This one is nowhere to be found, between the battery and the starter or near the starter. Any other ideas are appreciated. I’m told that it is suppose to be one of those square fuses with the clear top. Do you find that to be correct?

It's either a MAXI fuse or Fuse link (loop of wire) on a 10 gauge red wire that comes off of the main battery lug on the starter, it's not on the big battery cable from the battery to the starter.
Sometimes it's tucked behind the starter or might be wrapped up in the wiring if someone has changed it.
