I'm wanting to purchase a new 2022 and getting a price around $63,500 (December 2020 I had same model priced at $53,500) So wondering if any buyers out there that can help me know I'm getting a fair price. Non-cast rear wheels, radial wide tires and the standard features that come with the deluxe. Thanks

Get quotes from 3 or 4 other dealers. That will be more reliable a gauge than asking others that might not have bought exactly what you are considering. As tractors get larger and more options are available, prices will vary from dealer to dealer. Find the best deal you can make, and make the commitment. Had you done this in December 2020 you would be using your tractor today instead of suffering from sticker shock? When I decide that I want something, and I have the funds available, I start looking and I don't hesitate when I see a good deal. Today there are more buyers than sellers, so if you don't jump on a good deal, someone else will.

Sadly, might be a bad time to buy. I have noticed all Kubota (and pretty much everything else) has went up thousands since flu season two years ago.
And it doesn't look like they are going to come down any time soon now that no one wants to work any more.

Hmmm unemployment is pretty low if you checked lately,, but yes many still dont want to work. I dont know how they do it as there are no more Gov't perks? Yes like everything else prices of new tractors are through the roof! Depending what you want it may take a year or longer to get it! Did the dealer have the tractor on the lot?

Perhaps someone can correct me on this, but unemployment numbers are only based on those filing for benefits. They don't include all those for whom benefits have expired, or for those not claiming benefits or for those that don't qualify for benefits. That's my understanding of government reported unemployment statistics, so there are a lot more unemployed than the government claims.

As for the M4, I think there have been three major price increases from Kubota over the past 12 months or so. Are prices going to come back down? I very much doubt it, unless demand falls through the floor, and even then, there might be more incentives rather than a reduction in MSRP. The local dealer and many other dealers are so backordered that it'll take a while for any lack of demand to show up.

Good point! Any information of any kind nowadays should be taken with a grain of salt.

Employment statistics are also reasonably OK. It's a more reliable statistic - the number of people with a job as a percentage of the working age population. https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/employment-rate At 60% it's about 1% below where it was in 2019, and about the same as 2018. There may be a lot of people with a part time job though.

I recently took delivery of an M4D-071 tractor with every option I could think of using. It's a great tractor so far, no issues at all.

Anyone wanting to buy a new Kubota would do well to look into the 20% discount off retail that Kubota offers to members of the National Cutting Horse Association. It is free to join for the first year if you are not competing. Heck, I don't even have a horse. But I got a pretty sweet deal, although it took six months to receive my unit.

As of September 1st, Kubota no longer offers the 20% off for Equine members. It is now a flat $500-$1900 off depending on the model.

I was not aware that they had reduced it, thanks for pointing that out. I stopped following it after my unit was delivered. I am glad that I acted when I did!
