Had my first regeneration on my LX4020 today at 18.6 hours. The regeneration Indicator started flashing along with the Parked regeneration indicator. I followed the directions and it completed a Parked regeneration and all indicator lights went off. Is it unusual for the first regeneration to be a Parked regeneration. Also I do not think the 2700 RPMS is good with a new engine with 18.6 hours.

Are you sure it had to be a parked regen? On an L01 you would have been able to continue working by simply increasing RPM.

Pretty confident the Kubota engineers dont have a problem with 2700 RPM at any hour mark.

Dan, I always run my tractor at least 2200 RPM. The regeneration light and Parked regeneration light both came on at the same time. On my B3350 I get the regeneration light and keep on working.

Interesting. I am not 100% sure but I think on my tractor (L01) a normal (PM1) regen starts with parked regen, regen, and RPM lights all blinking but no audible alarm. Increase RPM and the RPM light goes out but the other two continue to blink for a while and then the parked regen light goes out and regen comes on solid and stays that way until the regen completes.

AFAIK I have never had a parked (PM2) regen but supposedly that is the same but with an audible alarm.

I realize this is an old post but thought I would add. I had my first regen on the lx3520 21.5 hrs It also made me do a parked regen. 22 degree Celsius day, mowing, tractor working would have thought it would be happy doing a regen while working. On my old lx3310 if I was pushing snow -35 and couldn’t keep 3 bars on the coolant it would make me do a parked regen. Be interesting to see if this will be a common occurrence

The first regen in my L3901 was a parked regen. I have about 180 hrs on the machine and have not needed a parked regen since.
