Lx2963 not connecting

I have the lx2963 snowblower the shaft on the undercarriage and shaft on the snowblower are about 2in apart! I already adjusted the shaft on the snowblower to furthest setting that is where I have my 2in left? Can I adjust the undercarriage somehow?

Have you flipped the level to connect the coupler? The black round bar on top of the K-connect.

Is this a new install? I have the same setup and have no issues. This shaft is telescoping and should extend far enough to slide on to the tractor spline. The spring loaded coupling can be a pita but doable.
