I have a lx2610 that is 2 years old. Been working good but went to start it up today since usually it about a week ago, and it won't turn over, only makes a click sound. I thought maybe the battery but it is fully charged. Along with not starting the Hazard light and turning signals won't work which I think they are connected. Not sure what else to do. Any suggestions would be great appreciated!

Check battery cable contacts. Make sure they are clean and free of corrosion.

As others indicated, if you have a spare battery laying around its best to try it real quick. I usually just keep a "farm" battery around for this kind of stuff.

check fuses, seat safety switches, etc. WSM should help there.

Look for mice evidence under hood and dash, check fuses with test light. PTO not engaged, sitting in seat(not sure on this one as mine starts without sitting), HST pedal not engaged?

1. Battery discharged or dam-
aged

Solution order
1. Check the battery voltage.

11-44
2. Recharge the battery. 3-15
3. Replace the battery. -
2. Slow blow fuse blown Replace the slow blow fuse. 11-46

3. Safety switch improperly ad-
justed or damaged

Repair or replace the safety
switch

11-65

4. Wiring harness disconnected
or improperly connected

Repair or replace the relating
wiring harness.

-

5. OPC controller or main ECU is
damaged

Check and replace the OPC con-
troller or main ECU

11-70
11-55

6. Starter relay is damaged Check and replace the starter re-
lay

11-46

7. Starter motor is damaged Check and replace the starter

motor

11-68

8. Main switch is damaged Check and replace the main

switch

11-64

I tried to start my Yanmar a few weeks ago, click. Charge battery. Click. Started investigating...

I had engaged the PTO lever somehow. That is one safety switch I am happy to have fully functional. A friend of mine had a faulty neutral safety switch recently. Just a couple ideas.

Thanks guys for all this information. Yea am not really good with equipment repairs beside the basics. I know the OPC and the turning signals are on the same fuse (wasn't blown) but thought maybe that would lead me to figure it out. Not sure it is a safety switch due to the lights and the hazard lights not working? If I don't figure out by tomorrow afternoon I will have to get it towed out of here as we have a snow storm coming and will need it Friday.

I did check these, and the turning signals and Hazard lights not working it something different also

(2) 15 OPC controller, hazard Did you check this fuse? Are you able to download the WSM? Page 647 is the Electrical system for the tractor. Is the tractor stored outside, inside?

Is your dealer/service center going to be able to get it back to you in a couple of days? That type of service is hard to come by!

Do you have a test light? If so test the fuse while it is in the fuse box, key on, touch the little metal tabs on the top on the plastic fuse(that is what they are for). I not trying to talk down to you, just don't know your experience level. If you want PM me your phone number and I will try to help you. Did the WSM link work for you? Did you do a visual inspection under hood and under the dash? Just asking as I have gone to hundreds of classes for automotive technology and this is always the second step(first being verify the customer concern). I have some tractor experience but electrical is just ions flowing does not matter if it is in a car, tractor, microwave or a refrigerator(have way to much experience in my Samsung POS refrigerator). This is a good issue to have as it is not intermittent.

Wiggle your HST peddle while trying to start the engine. To see if your HST is returning to center. If it isn’t returning to center the engine won’t start.

Also, make sure your pto lever is fully disengaged.

Thanks all we spent a long time go through the tractor check it over safety switches, fuses, battery and other items listed above. We ended up rolling it on the trailer and getting it to the shop. They said they're going to do their best to get it running before snow storm Friday night. No idea what it is my guess is after washing it off after last storm water got into something it wasn't suppose to, as it was running fine when I put it in barn last week.

Just got off the phone and there saying that they think the fuse box was the issue that the salt from the roads got in there and corroded the opc/hazard one.

My LX2610 just died on a slope. The 5A fuse for the OPC was blown. I swapped it with the spare and it blew immediately or as soon as the key went to the first position. No lights on the instrument cluster except for the glow plug lamp when key is in that position. Engine will not turn over at all. Has anyone seen an issue similar to this?
