Would anyone have a recommendation for a lightweight grapple for a LA534 loader? The ones I see are starting at 60-66" wide and way 4-500 lbs.

I was hoping for say a 48-50" one that may weigh 2-300 lbs.

Land Pride makes a light weight grapple. Sorry I don't have the model number handy. Mine is a 60 inch, weighs less than 400 pounds. It is a good match for my L3800. Got it from the Kubota dealer for about $2500.

I forget the model numbers but Land Pride makes several grapples. They make a 05 version that fits on a BX25. The next model is a 15 but it's for larger tractors. Searching on their website shows a 10 series model but does not give much information on them.

I did find some useful information on WRLong's grapples. They make some smaller and lighter weight versions. Anybody have anything from WRLong?

I did not know that WR Long made a bolt on grapple, looking at their website what I was talking about was their root rake brush grapple RBG2. The 48" or 54" version. Weighs about 325 or 339 lbs. I may have to look close at the bolt on jaws.

Either you or a welding buddy could knock out one on your own. Depending on what you are looking to grab with it, it can be made fairly light, but then again it couldn't lift a decent sized tree without damaging the grapple.

So you have a balance of what you can do vs. what the loader will handle...

I have the same loader so let me know what you come up with!

The WR Long looks nice and light, but for the short term a little out of my price range. I may revisit the bolt on claw they have for my bucket.

Or add a tooth-bar and a thumb to your existing bucket.Check out Green's Machine Thumb.I have one and it's a great addition.

Man that 50" everything attachments sounds like what I'm looking for! Now I wish I had the third valve attachment already.

Your existing bucket probably weighs close to 300 lbs. By the time you get the bolt-on grapple on it you'll still be over 400 lbs. I'd go ahead with the 450 lb grapple - it looks to be heavier duty than the bucket + lid style. The edge-wise flat bar in the grapple will be a lot stronger, and give a lot more ways to grab, than your bucket plus the bolt-on.

Land pride scg0548 it weighs only 157 pounds.just talked to dealer about it.It cost 1200. I want more of a root style grapple so I'm still looking
I think that series of grapple is made for a BX, it looked too small to fit on my bucket with the skid steer quick mount.

Recently I had the third function valve installed on my B2650 and I selected the factory setup. This week I received my Everything Attachments grapple. I got the 50" lightweight grapple with the single lid. I'm pleased with the fit and finish.
Two comments.
1. The website says 36" hoses but they actually told me it comes with 46" from what I'm told. I haven't measured it but they are longer than 3'.

2. The 46" hoses are still a little short for my LA534 loader. I probably need about a foot longer to be able to tilt all the way down.

Other than that, the little guy is pretty impressive. I will be officially breaking it in this weekend. So far I've picked up a few rotten logs and moved them around my back yard. Maybe not the cheapest, but definitely a nice attachment.
