landpride SB1051 on a bx1880

Anybody out there use the landpride SB1051 on a BX1880?? My Kubby dealer said its too small to run it, but the landpride site says 18-32 HP .... So I wondered how good i actually might work....

Your dealer is dead right, and trying to steer you down a good path so far.

You only have 13.5HP to work with, 18HP min is way over what you can deliver.

So to answer the last part of your question, it will work like poo poo on your tractor! :p

yep, it would power it, but under load it would likely be really weak and not make you happy. Just to expand more, your tractor is indeed 18 engine Horsepower, which would be the bare minimum listed for the unit. PTO horsepower however is 13.7HP on your machine. Always go by the PTO horsepower when looking at PTO driven implements, not by the engine horsepower.
