Will a L6060 handle a woods 17 foot Batwing finish mower. It says 40 horse min but its turning 9 blades. Will only use on a field with shorted grass.

That said: Who makes a 17' BW?
12', 15', and 20' BWs are readily available but I've never heard of a 17' BW.

According to the Woods web page, https://www.woodsequipment.com/productDetails.aspx?id=332, the mower is 206 inches wide. That would make it 17.16 feet wide and cut 1 to 5 inches high. The page says it requires 40-80 hp at the pto. According to tractor data the L6060 has 53 hp at the pto.
So according to the information published the L6060 may not have enough "balls" but it should have enough ponies to mow.
Just saying the L6060 may not be a over sized like your two big tractors would be but he should be able to keep his grass cut.
