Has anyone done this successfully. I only found one thread on this, and after swapping the hoses the backhoe did not function properly. Is the correct way to disassembly the valve a change the valve block positions?

I've done it to mine a few years back, I couldn't get the hang of the backhoe pattern.

I swapped the hoses at first. It changed the functions but wasn't smooth. I had to go back and swap the restricters to go with the original hoses/cylinders. Not sure if that's the right term for them, the hose attaches to it, then screws in to the valve bank. If I remember right, they were on the main boom cylinder line to slow it down.

Good luck.
Post some pictures if you run in to issues, there's guys here that know much more than me.

Ok so the fittings are the important piece to make the change. I looked in my service manual and it appears that both the boom and the dipperstick have the same relief valve setting of 3390 to 3460 psi.
Thanks for all the help.
