My l3830 starts up runs fine for about an HR or 2 then it dies is not over heating it's not losing power we have went threw all the safety switches they all in working order but when it dies if your quick enough you hit key switch tuning it off then back on you might have to do it several times or shut it down and let set for an hr the service shop say fuel problem so we serviced the fuel system new filters cleaned collector checked everything but still does it and when I say injector pump solenoid I get laffed at but I know something is wrong with because when it does the dieing thing some times you can hear the solenoid rapid click or not at all not sure if it it is the solenoid or the key switch it's self

I don't know why you would be laughed at for mentioning the shut off solenoid, since your problem is closer the solenoid than it is to a fuel problem.

Key switch or solenoid? possibly, but much more likely with the circuit(s) between them. Yours is certainly not the first tractor to develop this issue. I've seen it myself a time or two and I don't work on a lot of Kubotas. Sometimes you can trace the harnesses and spot potential problems, damaged or pinched spots. Sometimes a little creative wiring is needed to make it go away.

There are a few tests you can do if you're not afraid to open up the harness. I would start with the one leading to the stop solenoid near the front of the engine somewhere easily accessible. Others may start elsewhere.

If you are hearing the fuel solenoid shut off click I would be looking at what Kubota calls the operator presence control module. It's up in the dash. I just did one with exactly the same problem you're having. Everything was fine until it warmed up and would shut the machine down. $110 from kubota.

I don't think it's a real common problem but check that the vent on your fuel tank cap isn't clogged.
