We have a Kubota L35 engine in need of rebuilding and are looking for a good, reputable place/person to do so. The Engine will need to be pulled from the tractor in order to do the job correctly. The engine has blown cylinders and enough blowback to literally blow the oil cap off the tractor while idling. There are also crank seals leaking among other things. We know it will likely be a big job and that the engine very well is in need of a lot of repair. We like the size and capabilities of the tractor we have now so that's why were so set on having the engine rebuilt rather than selling and purchasing a new tractor. If anyone knows of a good place in the central Ohio area that is able to do all of this please let me know!!!! Engine model D1703-TLB

You might want to look into an already rebuilt engine for your L35.
There is one listed on Equipment Trader for $4400.
Don't know if their engine model is same as your D1703-TLB

thank you I wanted to have an idea how many hours I might be able to get on my tractor before I have to spend the big bucks, was putting 300 hours a year on, so hopefully I’ll never have to if I do the maintenance.
Ours is a mid 90s model so we have definitely gotten our moneys worth with how much we have used it.
