My 2007 L3400 HST tractor has been used only for mowing with a bush hog. I’ve decided I would like to purchase an offset flail mower. The tractor does not have a FEL. After tons of research, I’ve purchased a Kubota Hydraulic Block with fittings. I’m leaning towards purchasing a Prince ‘MB’ 3 spool valve with 3 custom fit hydraulic lines along with misc fittings. For the Hydraulic experts, please tell me if I’m on the right path. I plan to run the high pressure, beyond power and tank hydraulic lines to the spool valve from the hydraulic block. If there is an easier way to hook up my auxiliaries I would greatly appreciate it.

Thats it - just like a loader valve.

Where are you putting the valve and why Prince?

I would think you could save some money using off the shelf hoses.

On the hoses, that’s a great idea. Didn’t think of that. On the Prince valve, it was one that had a built in adjustable relief valve. I’m sure there are other ones but that was one I found that met the requirements.

Its unlikely you will need to adjust it but most are adjustable.

I haven’t purchased them yet. Like you I will mount the spool valve 1st
Read the instructions carefully. On those valves power beyond conversion is a small pipe plug that you install inside the C port. Its tiny and easy to lose. Used to come in a little plastic bag thats equally easy to misplace....

You might want to consider getting a valve or 2 with the float feature.
Just an option that sometimes makes sense to have depending on what all they will be used for.
