Rodents chewed the light harness in half way back in the right rear corner of the hood. I can't figure out how to get the hood off. There's a bolt that you can access by lifting the hood and reaching in past the hole for the fuel cap. I loosened that bolt because it looked like the hood would slide up and off with that bolt backed off but nothing's happening.

I remove that bolt, it has to come out a good ways anyway.
If you have a helper, it makes it a lot easier. Also it's wise to remove (completely) the lift strut. Drop the hood about halfway, pull up on the rear and forward, with your helper, and it comes right off.
