L3240, It jerks in reverse

I have a 2007 L3240, It jerks in reverse & after 15 minets of running it will not move forward. Leave sit for 10 minets & will move again for short time have to leave sit again to move. changed oil & 2 spin on fillters does this have another screen & where is it hiding.

It would help to know what tractor exactly that you have, there is a F, DT, GST, and HST.

Not sounding to good on your end. Usually when the hydraulic oil warms up and the unit slows down or losses function or power. It's wear and bleeding off internally. You could try to see if it's a weak relief valve for the forward function before condeming the HST.

Did the problem come on suddenly or has it been getting worse over time?

Sudden onset issues usually happen when something breaks.
Gradually increasing issues usually point to part wear.

More of a sudden notice not used much in summer but know trouble when it gets warm 20 - 30 minuts. Location of relief valve

If your going to get into it and repair anything on the HST get The WSM (aka service manual), it will give you a lot of useful information, like the location of parts and there proper removal and adjustment.

Get a couple new filters for the transmission and hydraulic system. There is one of each, one on the right side is hydraulic and left side is HST filter. Remove old filters. Install new. Cut old filters open and have a look-see what's in side. If you see lots of brass material, you may want to get ready to spend some money. If clean, then could just be contaminated fluid or a filter plugging, etc. Being an L40, could also be electrical since the HST pedal is electrically controlling the HST.
