L2900 Glow Plug sensor?

Hi All
Does anyone know if there is a temp sensor in the glow plug circuit on a L2900. For the last six months the glow indicator comes on every 2 or 3 minutes while running and stays lit for the usual 5 seconds as if it thinks the engine is ice cold. If only I had a wiring diagram!

It's more likely the glow controller, behind the dash.

I will start there but it looks like I should order a manual.

Agreed wrt glow plug controller.

Get a parts schemat and find it behind dash.

On mine the controller finally failed and glow plug indicator stayed lit constantly. Side effect was the current draw constantly feeding glow plugs kept the battery pulled way down requiring boost to start each time.

After R&R controller the battery started behaving normally.

Apparently no damage to glow plugs.

Controller was about $70 two years ago. Look online for better deal.

Just for SAFETY disconnect battery neg term before fiddling with controller.
