I recently purchased a 1999 L35 and it has canopy lights on the front and back. Does anyone know if there is a special switch for these lights? I tried the dash light switch and nothing happened.

Does it look as if they came from the factory? I kind a doubt that it did -

Is there no other switch hidden on the side of the dash or in some other odd place?

Trace the wires from the lights and see where they lead.

They look like factory lights on the front and back but no switch anywhere. I'll have to trace the wires back and see where they lead.

How about on the FOPS or on the lights themselves? I added some after market LEDs from Tractor Supply. The extra connectors at the fenders are unswitched. I debated putting switches on the dash and running new wire, but ended up just running wire in the FOP from those connectors and putting switches on each light. I can reach them from the seat. Could have been neater, but they work.

Check to the left of the seat. Work light connections come up behind seat on left side. I put the work light switches for my 2000 L35 just behind gear shifter.
