Hello guys, I have a restored 1970 Kubota L260. I have noticed that a couple of us L260 owners have a front end loader on their tractor. Where did you plumb into the hydraulics to achieve it? Would I need a wider front tire like what is on a 2WD L2501? What is the ballpark cost of upfitting to a loader? Thanks guys.

You'll need to find a very light weight loader, wider tires will help and hurt, it will make it even harder to steer.

I would have to look into the hydraulics, but off the top of my head it's going to require a separate pump to run it and a separate hydraulic reservoir.
The onboard pump would make it impractically slow and weak.

Setting up a loader properly on that model will probably run you somewhere in the $3500 range, and you better be good a fabricating parts as the mounts and subframe will all have to be custom made. ;)
