I have a Kubota B6200. An individual swapped in a D650, the frame says B6200, engine casting says D650. It is a 4wd B6200D.
I want to repair it to use it in the garden. I have tried soaking the pistons down with Kroil. I have tried to tap the engine front crankshaft pulley flats with no luck. I have tried to heat the engine up with little luck.
The rings are stuck and I believe if I were able to break them loose I could get the engine running and assess whether it is worth building and also if the block has some crack I've not been able to see somewhere.
The crank has no traditional automotive damper and it appears the pulley is held on by press fit onto the fine splines.
Can any of you fine lads tell me if there is a splined socket that Kubota makes that will fit the splines on the tractor ? I think it would be a 22spline socket and 18mm ? I know I could drive on a socket and then use 1/2 drive but I don't want to run the crank for future splined use.
PS: I am aware that the D650 isn't supposed to be in a B6200D, I only saw the D850 had been pulled once I got the tractor loaded on the trailer. Nothing to be done at that point. At some point the seller's face will meet someone's fist- it's called karma. Should have known to cancel the check and leave it with him when he laid the excuse on me that the battery was dead.
Thanks boys.
