Haven’t been here in a while, but today while blowing snow off driveway, I realized the crank handle for rotating the chute, SUCKS . I just don’t like it. I would much rather move the stick to left or right. Is there a post here that has pics of hydraulic motor? P/N, Fabrication is no problem. No electric. Hydraulic only. 6C7A9800-1A19-45A0-8D1F-375C71E58D31.jpeg

I can’t help with that as I have a 3pt not sure it would be the same. I do however want to say I’m envious of your ability to rack and stack your implements!

I built one about 15 years ago when I got my BX22. I used a hydraulic motor and some restrictors to control the flow so I wouldn't wreck the turning mechanism but I did destroy a couple before I got it perfected. If your snowblower is set up for the Kubota hydraulic motor, I would just bite the bullet and buy what they offer because designing and perfecting your own isn't going to be easy. Here is a link to some of my pictures. https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/threads/hydraulic-chute-rotator-on-the-bx2750-snowblower.49533/ When I sold that unit last year, I never got around to welding the plates together, and it left with the vice grip still attached 15 years later

I know you said no electric, but when I had a Bercomac on my John Deere garden tractor I made an electric version from a 18/20 volt drill motor.
Much simpler, in my opinion, and if it failed it was easily replaced.
Got the drill from a pawn shop, the connection from Home Depot(I think), a relay, a switch and some wire.

Thanks. Yes, it’s normally all on shelves. Grapple, blade, and blower too. Wood pile got in the way of putting everything where they belong.

That’s what I’m looking for. Thankyou

Interesting idea. May utilize that idea too

Here's another one that I did that might be of interest to you. Used a window motor coupled to the rotator shaft, using a 3/8" universal joint and a 12 point socket that fit nice on the gear of the motor. A piece of steel to mount the motor on and bolt it to the blowers frame. Worked excellent.

That is a 1960's Delco window motor, and a very powerful motor. Do you have any others that you could spare? thank Dusty
