The bearing on the inside of the pinion shaft has failed on my RCK60b23bx mower, and I am having trouble removing that shaft. I think the bearing race has seized on the shaft and there is no way to get at it as far as I can tell. Just a note this gearbox only has one access port on the top. I see some have an another access port on the back side that would give access to the bearing in question, this gearbox does not have that port.

RCK60-24B gearbox spindle
I have a RCK60-24B mower on my B2400. I have to replace the gearbox seals due to a leaking bottom seal and was going to do the bearings as well. Is there only one bearing in each spindle? It looks like there is room for two bearings in the spindle housing but mine has only one,
