So cool! It is a very rare thing for this to happen. Although I have flown many times with my son, I never got to fly in a military helicopter with my son, I did take a "flight" in the AH1D Apache simulator with him as his co-pilot Gunner. The simulation that we flew was an engagement in Iraq from one of his deployments there. That was awesome because I 'killed' every target presented.

Great video on Veteran's Day.

Great tribute/service to his parents.

Years ago I was on a committee that made Academy recommendations to our Congressman.

Met some super high school kids. Exemplary is the only way to describe them.

Naval Academy was hardest appointment.

Any Academy Appointment is not just to good kids; but GREAT school grades, attitudes, community-minded, etc.

He obviously followed through. Good for him and I Thank him for his Service.

I Thank all for their service....

My father was an Air Force General officer during the time I served multiple combat tours in Vietnam as an Air Force fighter pilot and my wife was an Air Force nurse to my mind we cannot do enough for the men and women that served and the families that supported them
