I rarely use the stuff myself because I’m cheap*... but one of the advantages of most synthetic grease is “flowability” or “pumpability” in cold temps... soo ... if you have to deal with low temps a lot... Mobilgrease 28 is a favorite of mine if synthetic is your choice. It’s good enough for the Air Force and Navy so it works for me. (Certified for roller bearings, plain bearings, sliding bearings, screwjacks, water-resistance.... google it... good stuff.... not cheap.)
*I’ve got so many different types machinery, some which have special grease requirements.... I usually have a separate grease-gun/grease-type assigned to each.... and I painted the guns colors to identify the purpose... black for Moly... Green for marine... Blue for aircraft... (My Orange Grease Gun has general purpose lithium for the two machines it serves....
