I really want to make a comment that expresses how I feel about things and stuff but I cannot bring my fingers to type anything positive about it. I do not want to go on vacation right now..

We are going to my sons in-laws place for dinner. Probably be about 10 or so people there. Then up north to see mom and my brothers family on Friday.

Round here people make informed decisions for themselves. If they want a large gathering, they will have it. If they don't, they don't.

If a neighbor decides to be a busy body and force the issue, then they will probably have to utilize their dental insurance.

We usually have a big gathering at our house on Friday with a 20lb turkey and all the fixings. But this year 1 kid has to work, the boys are going to deer camp. So, we are heading to our daughter in laws parents house Thursday night for dinner. Minimum of 8 people, but usually a big crowd with some of their friends stopping by as well.

Then Friday we are going to moms for a late lunch about 3 hrs north of us. It will be a crowd of 8 to 10 people there as well.

I'm quite fond of SOS myself. Wife makes it regularly. No beer though, don't consume alcohol, I have other bad habits.

I don't know what happened, but we are heading down a dangerous path. It's easy to give up your God given rights, but nearly impossible to get them back. Scary times. Anyway enough gloom and doom, we will see family and friends today as usual, and I hope all of you guys and gals have a great thanksgiving despite all of this crap

My gal is all about thanksgiving dinner with her kids. Daughter and SIL live in Nashville Tn And cam home for the week. Son lives near by but is complete d... they have a 3 month old baby, her first grandchild. He asked that the daughter get tested before they would bring over the baby. The Daughters rapid test came back negative but the regular test came back positive 4 days later. So off they went back to Nashville last night, plenty of drama ensued. The baby had been here twice in the four days.

Now we have a crap ton of food and no one to eat it, no one wants to step foot in the house now the daughter has tested positive.

Good times. Happy thanksgiving!!

Sorry your having a rough time. Our daughter is 6 months pregnant and is avoiding everyone for Thanksgiving. Although it didn't stop her from hanging out with over 40 people for her baby shower 2 weeks ago.

Wife and I are biting our tongue.

I don't travel much, but would love to see your new B when it shows and have a cold one with you!

(Note - - I can't do Guinness, but the main product of Pottsville PA has been a favorite lately!)
