One of the tires has finally "retired" from service . The size shown on the side wall is Farm Service 4.5-10 Lug-M.
Most of the tires that show up on my search are the 3 lug steering type.
I'm looking for tires with lugs - the R type .
I understand the 10 means a 10 in diameter rim, but what does the 4.5 mean?
I'm wondering if a 10 inch tire for, say a forklift might work.

The 10 is the rim size and the 4.50 is the width
NO a fork lift tire will not work, they require a split rim because the sidewalls are not flexable enough to mount them on a regular rim.

You can use a 5.00-10 tire
