Hey guys and gals

Is anyone running a front mounted PTO snow blower on your tractor in the 50-75hp range?

Which setup are you running?

How do you like it?

I don't know the first thing about an L-series other than they are much bigger than my baby BX.

I think if you go to the Kubota 'build my kubota" site you can answer SOME of these questions yourself.(by adding options, taking note of part #'s, pick a different class tractor, rinse repeat)

I am led to believe that the Kubota "K-connect"s come in different sizes and I don't think there is anything remotely universal about them.

I do love the front blower on my BX2380--but that doesn;t answer your question*(s)

You may be on your own....I can't imagine anyone has a "database" of what aftermarket snowblowers will fit on the front a a Kubota, matched to their K-COnnect system..........but I've been wrong before.LOL Does an L series have a mid-mount PTO?\

Good luck !

its a 2 part scenario and yes it does have a mid mount PTO which is what created my problems.
My 2 problems with the mid mount PTO is that it spins at 2000 rpms ( I need it to spin at 540 rpm)

If there is a KIT to change the mid pto speed to 540 rpm then that would be perfect I can run a front mounted blower

the 2nd problem is that since I have a mid mount PTO I cannot install a front mounted PTO / 3 point hitch which would have allowed me to run any PTO blower I want

1. What front mounted blowers have you guys ran on your L5740? also has anyone run a hydraulic blower using a Power Pack ?

2. Are any of the front mounted blowers compatible with Kubota's K connect system

so here is the installation manual for the front PTO and 3 point hitch system that Zuidberg offers

Is there any reason why the zuidberg system wouldnt work because I have a mid mount PTO?

To me it seems like the Zuidberg kit has nothing to do with the MID mount PTO I dont see why that would cause an issue to install it

I read your other thread too. I have no answer for your problems, but I do have a question. Why a front mount? Why not buy a provost or whatever brand you want and put it where it goes, on the 3 point?

I have to clear a hundred houses per snow storm having to constantly look behind my shoulders will be very fatiguing and it's more time efficient driving straight ahead while clearing snow then having to reverse to clear it

It’s commercial, gotcha. I think you may be better off finding the Kubota hitch mount for your tractor, if one was ever made, rather than adapting and gear reducing a rear mount.

It already has the Kubota front mounted setup ever those blowers are not that well equipped compared to a Pronovost or similar aftermarket blower

Well that makes more sense. You never said that in other thread. Once you get the gear reduction figured out, should be relatively easy to fab up an adapter mount.

I thought I did mention it and one of the other threads but maybe not

I found one company that makes gear reduction units but they are $8,000 that just seems absolutely insane lol

Have you priced that Zuidberg combo? For my M7060 that was $10,000 not installed. I rolled my own and use a Woodmax blower. My PTO shaft comes from the rear.
