Isn't the part I made bold ass backwards? Amazing how things are done in places where replacement cost is probably 1000 time labor cost.....Made it completely through the first video. Second one I ran out of steam.

Enjoyed the videos...even though I ran out of interest after watching the complete first one...and a bit of the second one.

If it cost you a thousand dollars for a replacement rather than $40 for a repair that MIGHT last, would you feel the same way?I have travelled a fair amount, and I lived in Bolivia for over four years. In many poor remote places, they can repair things with the most rudimentary tools and supplies, and it is impressive.
However, often these repairs do not last. How pleased would you be with a repair that lasted a few months, a week or a day? If it gets you to a city or home, it is great, but here in the US, I would rather buy a new tire than deal with a constant problem.
I find myself slipping occasionally. Should this be a thread?Yes, good eye, it is bassackwards.
As former president Bush said recently: I’m 75. LOL
Maybe. But that's one for the OFF TOPIC forum for sure...I find myself slipping occasionally. Should this be a thread?
