My battery was dead this morning, has been showing signs and is 6 years old, I bought a new battery and installed, after starting I get a flashing code P0606, is this a serious issue. Thanks for your help. My Kubota model is L3901

Probably not a problem unless something happened when you were hooking up the new battery. Do you know how to clear codes on your model? There is a procedure in either the operators manual or shop manual.

If it starts and runs normally it may go away when you turn key switch off.

See post 12 in this thread.

Or search for other posts on that error code in this forum.

P0606 is a low voltage issue at the ecu

most commonly is caused by dead battery and attempting to crank the engine, which drops the system voltage below the threshold that the ecu uses to generate P0606

replace the battery. Clear the code and see if it comes back. If it does, and your battery and it's connections are all good, there may be other issue with the wiring or ecu
