I start my tractor as usual but when I try to engage the cutter blade, the engine stops.
The blades seem able to rotate freely. No mention of this problem in manual.
Help, please !

This is on your GR1600D we assume?

Did this start all of sudden? OR ...... ???

Does it sound as if the engine is under load and dies? OR is this something like a switch was triggered?

Are you sitting firmly in the seat?

Increase the throttle setting a bit and see if it continues. Your idle may be too low for the power required to accelerate the blade assembly from the static position.

We see this complaint so often no matter what model of machine. its obvious most of the time it’s the safety circuit. It’s open somewhere in the harness or switch.
