Dynamo and belt install bx2230

Hello,

I'm new and this is my first post but can anyone please give me some instructions for installing a new dynamo and belt (or link to a video showing install). Thank you in advance!

The belt will probably be the hardest to get off and on. You will have to feed it over the fan (I think) to get it on. You can usually get it over one blade at a time, turning the fan blade by blade as you get it behind the fan. The shroud is usually to close to the fan tips to get it on all the way around at one time.

Thank you guys. I will try the fan trick to get the new belt on. And hopefully the dynamo will be fairly simple with unbolting the old one and putting on new one based on the diagram.

The shaft that drives the transmission will have to be unbolted from the crankshaft pulley and slid back to get the belts off and on. I believe you'll have to take the battery out and remove the access plate under it to get access to the shaft.
