The original paperwork calls it a B7100. The hood decals which are original also call it a B7100.

However the serial number on the frame starts, " B7001 -

Well, OK, but it seems strange.
Thanks for the quick answer.
The B7100 is based on the Japanese market only B7001. Same basic machine. Kubota didn't change the serial numbering until after they started trying to freeze out the grey market.

Yep, you're right, put my fingers in gear before I put my brain in gear.
I only have an old gear, so that is my perspective, should have considered the newer ones.

So, is my B7100 a gray market tractor? More importantly, will the parts I have on order for a B7100 fit? Pilot bushing is the one that is preventing the reassembly right now.

As far as I know, if it has english stickers, it is NOT grey. Unless someone rebadged it.
Is it a gear or HST?
4 or 6 lug front wheels?

All stickers are English; some English and French. AFAIK, the stickers are original as the tractor was bought new and owned by the same church since then--no one would have the desire or knowledge to change them.
Thanks to all fro your responses. This is a very active, as well as helpful group.

Hello Mike,

You are correct, this is an active group, but more importantly, there are a lot of knowledgeable people who are glad to help you out. What I know about Kubota tractors (beyond what you find out in the manuals) I've learned from Messicks' videos, and people on this site.

This tractordata.com link may provide some useful information (maybe you already have it)

Good luck with your tractor!
