Ray, don't let your neighbors find out you did the welding because they'll be hounding you forever to fix everything that breaks. Nice job. Good looking welds and paint job to.
Those welds look great! I'm jealous, because I'm pretty sure you've been welding for a lot less time than me, and my welds don't look that good.
My excuse is that I always worked with NASA certified welders, so anything I needed welded, I just turned over to the experts.
Thanks! Truth be known, I have adopted Frank's adage: If you can't weld good, weld lots. What I am really good at is grinding.
I did it outside and the wind picked up towards the end. MIG welding never works as well in the wind. I need to make a wind break. That's another project.
I was hauling more branches to the dumpster today. On-Off-On-Off time 50. Why is getting on and off a machine so dang exhausting? It can't be because were too heavy. Muscle just weighs so much more than fat!
I hand picked over 500 small bushes (burr sage) across two acres getting ready to try and spread seed from some nicer bushes and plants in the Spring. Everywhere I opened up, the chamomile moved in. This winter I have to spray a few gallons of pre-emergent to try and control the chamomile but that will also prevent germination of the plants I want started. It may be a losing battle now. What I REALLY need is a slow-moving smoldering grass fire to burn up most of the seeds.
