Hey guys and gals, I have never flushed any radiator but plan to flush my radiator on my L4600 this weekend.

Where can I carry the coolant to?

I have an Autozone near me and a O'Reilly's. When looking at their webpage I see they recycle oils and transmission fluid, batteries etc. but do not list coolant. I generally carry my oil to O'Reilly's, easy to get in and out of and pass by it on the way home each day.

Where do you guys and gals carry yours?

Thanks for your time.

Jay

Depends where you are. Check with you local waste disposal center. They usually have a website or you can call them. Our local dump takes hazardous materials and disposes of them. Last place I lived you could take it to landfill every last Saturday of the month and they would accept paint, coolant, poison etc. It is all dependent upon locality.

Our city yard waste site takes it along with oil and oil filters.

Here in Vermont, we have "Hazardous Waste Drop-off Centers". They will take ANY liquid you wish to dispose of. (paint, oil, antifreeze....etc) There are other places which will take old electronics (They reclaim all the heavy-metals) We also have mandatory recycling and composting.

There is a reason Vermont taxes are high... it costs money to protect the environment.
