Is there a daily OTT limit?
Please advise.
My wife sets my limits. Normally implemented with some strongly and loudly spoken words explaining it is time to get off the computer and get some work done.

Many years ago,..... I paid (dearly) for my freedom from those "strongly and loudly spoken words."
Now,......I just pretty much just do what I want to do......when I want to do it!

I will never trade those words in. Next year will be 30 years and without her firm words and softly spoken words, I'm sure I wouldn't be the person I am today. As much as I have fun at her expense, I would never trade her in. I got the better end of the deal when she said I do.

I have to admit I greatly enjoy the heat/humidity combo of NC summers. Those 90+ days you walk outside and immediately start sweating profusely but all it does is get you wet because it’s too humid for any evaporation thus no cooling effect. Grew up in a house without air conditioning and mostly worked/played outside so I guess I got used to it. Didn’t have A/C at school until about 8th grade and none at home until mid-20’s.

Discussion of heat/humidity reminds me of a conversation I had a couple years ago with a business acquaintance moving here from AZ asking why they’d heard our summers were brutal when their research showed our temps were lower than those in AZ. Asked them if they had a dishwasher. They said yes. Told them next time they ran a wash cycle, as soon as it was finished, open the door and stick their head inside for about 10 minutes. That’s our summer. You sweat, but it doesn’t help unless the wind is blowing, which it usually isn’t. Following July they told me that was dead on point.

I still blame the ubiquity of air conditioning in homes, businesses, and vehicles on the flood of immigrants to our state. Summers used to keep the immigrants at bay. Now they’re everywhere.

Don"t worry about it. Keep on keeping on.

The kids here have chastised me as well for posting too much. But I'm sure the operators of OTT love the volume.

But I do confess that I spend too much time talking orange tractors.

I thought the same.......for nearly 30 years.
Then found out some really ugly dirt.
It quickly became time for ME to go!

CONFESSION: I have a trailer addiction.
Me too with seven and counting! :ROFLMAO: No goosenecks for me since I'm not set up to pull them, but if I ever get a new truck I'll have to reconsider (add a gooseneck trailer to the fleet).

I often say that upstate New York winters limit pythons, copperheads, alligators and a whole bunch of critters I don’t want to encounter with my snowblower…..❄❄❄

I confess if one of those buggers are out there I’ll find them.

Some folks say we only have two seasons; Winter and the 4th of July….

Haven’t hit one yet…I’ll keep looking…..😉

Is that a box blade on the back?

Been using my back blade for ballast but bought a ballast box recently. More weight helps allot.
That particular picture I think we had 36” of snow, so traction was important.

I would use the box blade for a little snow removal. Now use the back blade.

I have a back blade as well. It works great on my long driveway once I get the verticle on the 3 point adjusted right for the angle of the blade. As you change the angle, verticle must be adjusted. A little test and adjust comes into play. Once dialed in, and if the snow is not too deep, I can blade my 1/2 mile driveway in four passes. Takes about an hour on my little LX2610.

I have a friend that says our political woes began with air conditioning - before air conditioning, politicians did their necessary business and left to escape the hot air. Now, they hang around and stir up trouble.

Funny timing, I keep in L6060 rops tractor with a canopy at our Michigan cabin. Lots of woods to play in.
In OH we have a 15 acre horse operation. Have a M7060 open that used for loader work and small hay work.
Stopped the hay work due to the horses eating the fields faster than they grow. so very few bales come off.
In process of trading the M7060 HD with loader, 500 hours for a L6060 Cab loader tractor.
Getting older and want the comfort of cab in the summer mowing the field with my 12 Woods Batwing, loader work, and snow blowing.
Should of trade value Monday.

Those are some serious Kubotas. You'll love the cab.

Once I went cab, it took me a little while to get over the visibility issues and the feeling of being out of touch with my surroundings. Like driving a car instead of riding a motorcycle.
