We had the Traditional Turkey for our Thanksgiving meal and will have Ham for New Year. That leaves Seafood Gumbo for our Christmas meal. That plus various "finger foods", chips/dips, candies, cookies, and desserts.

What say you??

Wife and I are having a spiral cut honey ham with maple and brown sugar glaze for dinner tomorrow.

Having breakfast with the family at our sons house in the morning though. Breakfast will be biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, and hash browns. :D

Started with melon, then locally caught crab, prawns & lobster. Followed by the traditional turkey, ham, sprouts, roast potatoes and stuffing. Side options of carrots and parsnips, courgettes and garlic potatoes and brocolli. For dessert sherry trifle and fresh fruit salad with cream or custard. Tea, cake, smoke, fart, nap.
We'll finish the bilghter tomorrow :D

We started this tradition years ago, while our son was still with us. We've kept it up, for no other reason than fond memories.

Well, we had the warmest Christmas on record in the last 130 years (waiting for the official report to see if we broke the record or not). So, instead of doing our traditional ham and all the fixings, we got out the grill and did hamburgers and bratwursts. We were all laughing, because this is the first time any of us could remember it being warm enough for us to grill outside on Christmas.
