Howdy. My quick disconnect has a leak on the last port closest to the seat. It has dripped down onto my mower deck into the spindle area for the drive belt. I will get to it today and fix the leak, but will I need to replace the mower belt? Or will it dry out after a few thousand spins?

I would remove the belt and "clean" it the best you can and replace it back on the spindles after the leak is fixed.

I would be worried it may want to slip and cause a heat build up and then harming the belt more.

Thanks I got the leak fixed. I cleaned the belt with soap and water and it is drying now. I will reinstall it tomorrow.

Make sure your not too far away when engaging the quick connect. I had the same problem you did but just once. Once the o ring inside is damaged it will always leak. Many owners have had nothing but problems with these but mine is still working fine since 2017!

I think that is what happened, the last time I put it on I was in a hurry. Funny thing is it didn't leak until a few weeks later when it got colder. I will watch it to see if it leaks again.

Thanks

I had mine leak so badly that the dealer replaced under warranty both sides of the quick connect.
