Hi, new member, been lurking for years.

2006 BX1850, 700hrs (I estimate since dash display went black years ago)

Went to plow some snow the other day, started and warmed up the tractor for a bit, drove out the garage about 6ft, stopped, went to go forward again and no movement, just a clicking noise coming from the rear when either forward or reverse was applied.

Any ideas? Thank you.

ALL other hydraulics work????

Last filter/fluid change? Clogged filter? what is maintenance record on the machine look like?

It was below freezing - thus any water that may be in the hydraulic oil could have frozen.

Check linkage? somehow something (nut on rear) somehow came off?

WORSE case ......hydraulic pump quit? Answer question #1;)

ALL hydraulics work. Last fluid/filter change 300hrs ago. I have changed it twice. I have owned it since new. Never an issue.

Tractor was in garage, temps were not that low really. I'll look at the linkage, it felt normal.

Thanks.

Thanks Jpatrick, you were right, the shift lever was in neutral. Duh. I'm blaming the grandkids who like to play on it. Had a rope I use to hold the discharge cover up wrapped around the lever! Easy fix, thanks!
