BX-25 Tips Easily

I have a BX25 and today it started to tip very easily with even a moderate load in the bucket. It tips enough so that the back left tire comes off the ground and the front right side of the bucket dips low. It looks like it's rotating on a single bold under the front center just above the front axle. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Nothing 'looks' broken but it's not right... FYI The ground is fairly level and I can level the machine by lifting up the right side of the bucket with my hand. I've carried many loads over the same terrain with no tipping. Today however it is way too easy.... I don't have a parts manual and I would guess it's a suspension problem but I can't see anything broken...

Any ideas? (thanks in advance and sorry if this is already posted. I tried searching on tip or tips but many posts have tips for users and I cant think of a better word to narrow the search... )

Got to have weight (counter weight) on the 3 pt hitch to effectively use a FEL. Your manual probably says to use around 400-450 lbs.

As the others have said a counter weight is necessary unless the load is light. Also check your tire pressures. One tire going down can make a big difference even if it doesn't look low to the eye. I know this from a personal experience.

Thank you all. I'm sure you are all correct. I thought of low tire pressure too and made sure they were properly inflated. I generally have my backhoe on and took it off the other day. What a difference some back counterweight makes... I put a blade on it and I did notice some improvement... Lesson learned.....

The front axle on tractors (2 WD for sure, not positive on 4WD) do rotate on a single pin at the center of the front axle. It is not a completely "hard" connection. It is right, not broken.

The front axle does pivot in the center. That's why many people turn the tractors over, they don't realize that the outside front tire and wheel do NOT push back up against the frame from the outside.. well, they do but, it's allmost roll over time by then.
