Hey folks, I did a dumb thing and bent the door pin for the cab on our BX2680.

Attached is a picture of the bent pin.

Any ideas how to fix, or what other information would you like to suggest a repair?

Thanks from upper Michigan,
Greg.

Slip a piece of 3/8" black iron pipe over the pin all the way to the bottom, and gently straighten it back to where it belongs. Don't know how you did that, except to have gotten the lower hinge off, and then the door fell down, bending the upper pin. You can also try to reverse the way that it got bent, by putting the door back on the upper pin, and lifting the door from the bottom, until the pin straightens out, and the lower pin is aligned with the door. This might be the easier way to do this, if you have help handling the door. One person to lift, and one person to visually determine when to stop. I don't believe that this is going to be as difficult a problem as you are making it. If you know the way that it happened, you just reverse that way...

Do you have KTAC insurance on this tractor? If you do, call your dealer and get a claim filed. The dealer can then replace the cab and your cost would be $250.
