Guys,

the AG guys next door received a B7500 from a local dealer last year. A local college had it with a sweeper on the front of it. IT HAS been abused to the point of I am surprised it runs. Every bolt on the frame was loose!

They had to replace a few hoses, engine runs fine.

HOWEVER - as soon as the clutch is released - there is a god-awful squeal and grinding noise, and even with the clutch pushed back the noise is still there.

this machine had ZERO oil in the hydraulic system when received - screen cleaned, filters changed and S-udt2 placed in it, the 3 point came up with the engine cranked......

so go ahead and tell me what to tell them....... it has NEVER moved under its own power while here at school.

I take it - splitting the tractor is the first order of business? AND what would you think to find, making that awful sound?

thanks for any tips!:)

When you get inside you'll probably find something not quite this bad.

Just tear into it and replace clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing after a good inspection. Probably will not have to remove the flywheel, but if you do be sure to scribe a mark on the outside edge and one on the block so you know what position to return to without a fight!
