I'm looking to replace my HST transmission on my Kubota B7200 HST. Does the HST gasket go on dry or should I put some sort of gasket tack on the mating surfaces? Thanks in advance for the replies
Little help from Kubota techs. Where the HST Transmission splits w/ the rearend, does the big gasket go on dry or would you recommend putting some sort of gasket tack?
Hopefully one of the techs will respond - they are probably pretty busy these days. I personally would put in on dry so that there is less chance of contaminating the hydraulic/gear oil. I'm not familiar with the B7200, but usually there are alignment pins that will hold it in place until you get the two halves together.
