Hi,
I am new to this forum and hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction.
I have an 86 B6200 gear drive with about 1050 hrs. I have done all the required maintenance and then some. The only big jobs I have done include the ball coupling which drives the transmission. Required splitting the tractor. New bucket cutting edge. Made New oversize pins for bucket and cylinders reamed out .070 oversized.
I replaced the dry rotted tires and worn wheel hubs a couple of years ago.
The tractor has a vibration when running it in 4wd.
I an wondering if the clutch and or pilot bearing is shot?
Maybe the play here caused the ball coupling failure at the other end of the shaft ?
I jacked up the front end and turned the front wheels and no binding.
I can not seem to isolate the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Rick
