Any help greatly would be appreciated. I have the b6000 and it has a 10 spline. I found a company that still makes the reverser but it takes the 18 spline. I don't know what to do.

there is another solution that is way cheaper and works better and solves all the reverse pto issues of the B6000.;):(:D

search for B6000 pto projects and all will become clear, i wouldnt spend that sort of money for a reverser.
just my input;):)

this may be worth thinking about, a lot cheaper than a reverser and can be easily returned back to original config if you wanted to sell the B6000.

see thread titled as below.

" I've solved the anti-clock pto issue on my B6000, well for me anyway... "

Rob if you where trying to add a link it didn't work.

As for building implements for my b6000 I already have 2 other tractors in the same HP range that share the same attachments.

However I am considering building it into a full backhoe. I already have a full-size backhoe. It would be nice to have a mini backhoe.

i thought you wanted to resolve the b6000 pto direction issue that is so anyoying:(:(
i wasnt suggesting making new or modifying implements, just a possible solution to facilitate using your exsisitng kit on the b6000 also, just a thought.

Yea I want to fix the anti rotation issue without modifying my implements. I have other tractors that use the same attachments. None of my other tractors are counterclockwise pto.

you only have a few options to be honest then.
1st, get a reverser, easiest fix as it just slides on, downside is the availability of them and the very high price being asked for them, same old story with them now and thats the dreaded "supply & demand " .

2nd maybe consider a similar mod that i performed which is a heck of a lot cheaper and works better as its not another parts added onto the pto shaft.

3rd, if you dont want to get different implements then you may wish to sell it and get a simliar machine with normal rotation Pto output.
its a problem that many B6000 owner have, there are implements outthere that will work but thats double the kit to own and extra to purchase.
i dont think there are any other options to be honest.
i wouldnt spend silly money on a reverser unless i was going to get a good return against the outlay.

Rob I just read your other thread about swapping the rear axle. That is worth considering. If I can find a b7001 cheap.

You do realize that even with a reverser you cannot share drive shafts with the other implements?

By the time you get it set up, I bet you will have to cut about 5" out of all your shafts.

Now if you wanted to do something with hydraulics? Identical pumps come CW and CCW.........that would be a nobrainer.
been down that route also, not an ideal solution either.
B6000 only has a small pto HP and it does limit what you can run via a hyd gear/pto pump setup.

tried it on a gang mower setup and several other imps, does put a lot of load on the machine.

runs a gearpump for a back hoe that was disgned for the setup but thats not what he is looking to do primarily.
