I need a power source for a 12 volt sprayer, and decided hard wiring it would be much better then the roach clip type attachments that are included with the sprayer! So to make a long story short I found a red and black wire lead back by the right blinker light so I attached a cigarette lighter type power source but once I hooked it up there was no power, I thought it was perhaps the leeds that the factory may use for the optional work light, anybody have any experience with this? By the way it was located perfectly for my application for a sprayer hook up!

I ALWAYS run new circuits. Take it to the battery or the starter.....fused of course and not less than 12g.
You can run it through a relay also, trigger from the hot side of the ignition switch if you want to kill the circuit when not running.

Thank you guys, I used the work light power source for my application but after reading some of the other threads I am pretty sure i should have some work lights, "safety issue", so at that time I will run a new circuit!
