Hey folks,
Hoping someone has an answer out there...
I have a 2005 B3030 tractor - Love it!
I'm operating the B2782B Front Snow blower attachment.
I have had a issue with the blower not lowering (at all now!)

2 seasons ago - it would lower on float engagement only, sometimes lowered slower.
Last season it would "lock up" approx. 40% of the time... I tried toggling other hydraulics, etc, etc... sometimes felt like it helped.
Recently lowering extremely slow- to not at all now.
Not temperature related.
All fluids are clean & full.
The pressure hydraulic hose "jumps" hard when I try to lower unit.
No leak in the piston at all, everything is lubed/ free/ solid.

Suggestions welcomed!!!

Possibly the hose has collapsed internally blocking the flow?

Does the tractor also have a loader that uses the hydraulic connections? If so, no issues with the loader?

Thanks for helping... I strictly run a blower on the front.
All operations on the unit work perfectly (good speed, etc.) except the lowering issue.

Not sure if you read the complete post that I shared above . Once he changed his quick connectors his problem was sloved . Quite possibly that your quick connectors are failing as well

I did read through it - good info.
I do have an encouraging update which may point us in a direction...
I switched the fitting A-B, B-A & the functions work perfectly (in opposite direction of course).

I switched them back (in case there was a plug or?), and the old problem returned immediately.

Switched them back to opposite again& it worked perfectly all day (in opposite direction still).

Strange... but true.

Thoughts???

strange. Wondering if the quick connector under pressure lets the oil flow better out then back. ??? Maybe change them around to and see if that changes anything . [ referring to the male ends on the tractor] If it does then you will know that the connector is bad.

Your couplers are failing intermittently, replace them. If you just swap them around, they usually act up again very soon.
