I purchased a used B2650 with a front-mount snowblower recently and I'm having trouble getting the rear of the subframe mount to align with the mounting plate. Seems like I'm missing something obvious but I haven't been able to figure out why the alignment is off. Has anyone experience this?

I've got the front mounted flush and tightened in this photo:

Does the part with the round hole in the middle of the pic go on that shaft to the right of it ?

I am looking at Messicks parts under B2650. What variant is yours? Cab or rops? It also looks as if there are choices of blowers and probably sub frames depending also on SN.

I am by no means a parts lookup expert but when I plug in B2650HSDC, which is a cab model? And then go to B2714B this is what pops up for the description.

Kubota B2714B (MALE QUICK HITCH /B2301/B2601 ROPS) Parts

I think I would call your dealer and talk with a parts person that can verify if this is the correct sub-frame.

Thank you for the help Ken. I have a helpful contact with our local dealer. He sees this subframe as a 2009 era part and wasn't able to confirm 100% that this is a mismatch but it certainly seems that way given your research. I'm trying to get feedback from the individual I purchased the tractor on this...hopefully I can get a quick resolution.

Not sure if I have been any real help but your welcome.

I am curious from what you said here. "Yes - it's misaligned by about 2" and now I'm wondering if I was sold the wrong subframe "

Did you purchase the subframe separately from the tractor and snowblower purchase? If so, under what circumstances ?

If tractor, blower and subframe was purchased all together from one seller are you thinking it is possible that they were mismatched at the dealer used lot as an example?

As I am not familiar with this subframe, my subframe I have on my B7100 for snowblower is considerably different in design, It could still be possible you/me are missing something the way its installed?

I purchased the tractor, blower and subframe, and loader from the same seller. And I actually just heard from him and the latest theory is that the mounting plate on the tractor rotated. So I'm going to loosen that plate, attach the subframe to the mounting plate, and then reattach the plate if everything aligns correctly. Hopefully this is all that's needed. I haven't touched that mounting plate since acquiring the tractor so I didn't expect it to be the source of the problem.

The other thing that caught my attention is this plate that I marked in blue.
It appears that the circular part that the pin goes thru is offset on the plate. Is it possible that that plate should be un-bolted and rotated 180 degrees so the offset is closer in line?

Thats a real good eye there Ken ! While I can't be of much help here . I have to comment on the Op's comment about having a good parts guy . Back in the olden days late 60's & 70's it was so common to have a real good parts guy . I wish I could say the same for these days . The counter guy that just quit our Napa would not believe that everything in all the books at the end of the parts counter WAS NOT in the computer , even after the store manager told him , I told him several times everything in the computer is in the books , not vice-versa . Buy yer parts guy a beer .

Late follow-up on this but it was indeed a misaligned rear bracket. @ken erickson nailed it! Took a minute to break the bracket loose but thankfully everything aligned once it was able to move it.

My next challenge has been to get the chute to rotate in both directions. Rotates fine in one direction but not the other...swapping lines then successfully rotates in the opposite direction but not the other. Still trying to sort this out.

You need to push the loader stick hard to the right into detent to get the chute to rotate to the right.
